BREAST LIFT

A breast lift, or mastopexy, is designed to raise and reshape breasts that have lost firmness and elevation over time, restoring a more youthful position and contour. Sagging, or ptosis, can occur naturally with age, or as a result of pregnancy, breastfeeding, significant weight changes, or simply genetics and gravity. A breast lift addresses this by removing excess skin and repositioning breast tissue and the nipple-areola complex, without necessarily changing breast volume.

Breast lift alone, or combined with augmentation?

A breast lift addresses position and shape, but does not add significant volume. For patients who want both a lift and increased fullness, a breast lift can be combined with implants in the same procedure. During your consultation, Dr Robert George will assess your breast tissue, skin elasticity, and goals to determine whether a lift alone, or a lift combined with augmentation, is the most suitable approach.
